Great Comany
This was truly an amazing trip. I chose Dar El-Eiman through a referral.I am glad I did. The stuff was so nice, always helping even when they don't have to. I was really pleased with everything. Hotels were 5* stars as promised. We were given free upgrades at the hotels such as less people per room. Buses were excellent. Food at hotels was excellent. Food in Mina was good but can be better.Azizah building was so close to Mina which made it easy to walk back at any time. Food at Azizah was very good but too much waste. Imams were very good.hajj is a test of patience so I prepared my self for difficulties but Dar El-Eiman made it so easy. I will go again next year with Dar El-Eiman inshalla. May god bless Dar El-Eiman stuff for their honesty, kindness,amazing amount of hard work, and most of all for their respect!! its truly an amazing experience. You got to go to hajj ASAP if you did not go already. May Allah Bless Dar El-Eiman and all other honest , hard-working hajj operators |

I believe that our organizers(Mr Gaddour, M r Hussein Kamel and Mr Ahmad Shadid ) tried the best they can to fulfill everybody`s needs and special requests, in regards to accomodations , transportation., etc.
i have been to Hajj twice before and i totally undrestands how hard it gets to accomdate everyboby`s special needs specially in such Holly occasion where you meet with different mentalitied , attitudes and behaviour.

Inshallah i will be going to hajj with Dar El-Eiman.A friend told me about this web site that it contain ratings to those companies helping Muslims fulfill their obligation to Allah (SWT). They are facilitators arranging for their clients all of this holly trip.do they make money doing this ,definite yes even though I had seen it with my own eyes that sometimes they lose money. To be honest after reading the comments listed to rate Dar El-Eiman especially those who are dissatisfied with the services provided I wonder if they were thinking they were going to Hawaii or the Caribbean for a vacation not they were going to perform a ritual that requires a lot of patience since the reward is coming back god willing sin free. Instead they held the trip to the American Standers.Hotel accommodations in Makkah, Madinah, Menah, Arafat along with transportation were as advertised for one basic reason. the entities that provided the services were not Dar El-Eiman but contracted by Dar El-Eiman to provide such services. Mistakes happened absolute yes, but in my educated humble opinion beyond Dar El-Eiman's control but with all honesty when it was realized or addressed to the owners they did their best to solve it. But you still see some hajjies complaint that the tea was not as hot as it is suppose to be or the Pepsi was not as cold.Most of the complaints I heard took place at the camps not at the hotels but if one realize that all hajjies are in one deserted area fixed by contractors from Saudi to accommodate millions of people. Having been living in the USA for a lot of years I can honestly say that we are spoiled and instead of being grateful to Allah (SWT) that he blessed us with holy trip then to the people who made it possible we complain.
Thank you Allah for allowing me perform the trip that I wish I can do every year then than you every one at dar El-Eiman for making it happen.
Final note: the rating represents a small fraction of the total number that went to Hajj with this particular company or any other company in this matter. When you combined the total participants in this survey to the total number of Hajjies from the states , the ratio is very minimum. |

My beautiful and memorable Hajj trip
Asalamualikum!
My hajj experience with Dar El- Eiman was truely amazing. I have gone several times before, yet none of my experiences can not be compared with the experience I had with Dar El Eiman. The pilgrimage of Hajj is a very difficult one that requires a lot of patience; however, you can see the effort this Hajj group has made to make it as easy and as stress-free as possible. I would love to go with Dar El-Eiman next year inshallah, if God is willing, and I would recommend this Hajj group for anyone wishing to go to Hajj!

After performing the Hajj journey with other companies I have come to appreciate the competence and dedication that Dar El-Eiman Has. Many people go to hajj with a false pretense that it is a vacation when it is not. It is a religious journey that requires all of us to endure difficulties and learn patience. There are many issues that occur during the journey that are simply outside the hands of Dar El-Eiman... however being an experienced Hajji I was able to determine that they did their utmost and tried their hardest to ensure us the best trip possible while remaining calm patient and professional.

this is a hajj not vegas
This was my first time going to Hajj. I enjoyed it and will go again if he opurtunity comes. We had good Imams in Minnah about 5 shaikhs and we had lectures almost after each prayer. Brother Shaikh Abdel-Jaleel provided translations and it was very beneficial and also special thanks to Shaikh Mustafa and Shaikh Doctor Ahmed. Overall I was very satisfied although there were some minor mistakes and it was alittle out of control. If you ask other Hajj people that went with other companies they will say the same. Sincere thanks to brother Doctor Ghadoor, he was very professional, polite, and sincere. This Hajj I will never forget. |

Hajj is a Trial but Dar-el-Eiman Makes It Worse!
The assumption going into Hajj is that it will be difficult, it seems that Dar-el-Eiman's entire raison d'etre is to make it as horrible as possible. Being a Business Process Improvement (BPI) consultant, I can cite every single action taken by Dar-el-Eiman as a "Don't do this.." scenario. It was terribly disorganized to the point that I did not even know what days to request off from work, when my flights would be or what the arrangements were. Once we arrived, it was a hit-and-miss proposition with the buses, no thought was given to the fact that we had older hajjis with us, no thought of rest for the passengers or regularly planned provision of water or meals. Things seemed to happen as though by chance. In frustration, travelers began to organize events (meeting points, travel plans) and communicate them to each other. Why we were paying "VIP" prices was beyond me!
The situation got worse as we traveled out of Makkah. The tents were overcrowded and ill planned. I peeked into a tent for another VIP group once and they had about 10 people per tent whereas we had 50, they had cots, we slept on the floor on flip flops, the air conditioning was always out. To make matters much worse, there was NEVER any communication, any requests for English khutbas (after all, we were a group from AMERICA and speaking Arabic is NOT a Hajj requisite!) had to be made by persistent group members. Again, this was sheer incompetence.
Throughout all of this, Mr. Saidi was a mythical figure who would appear only fleetingly, never be responsible or responsive to anyone's concerns, show no consistency. Why does he charge so much?!
In Madinah, we were put up in an "under renovation" hotel without any clear guidance as to when or how we would leave, what meals were going to be covered, it was all hit-and-miss.
In the end, Alhamdollillah, we completed our Hajj with the help of Allah and DESPITE the many hindrances of Ghafoor Saidi and his Dar-el-Eiman group! STAY AWAY! |

Great services
We were very pleased with Dar El Eiman group because they delivered what they promised us and more... The 5* hotels in Makkah and Madinah were very close to Haram and Masjed Nabawi Al Shareef with excellent open buffet food just like they promised us in the U.S. and even at the camps there was plenty of food and hot and cold beverages around the clock... The buses were brand new and the tents were clean with comfortable furnitures in a private camp that only Hajjees with I.D. can enter in it... and bathrooms were clean with employees maintaining it 24 hours. We were very impressed with the good and continuos service and the hard work this group did to keep us satisfied...The information they gave us in the U.S. was very helpful and prepared us for this journey which i think what made things easier for us...
Thank you Dar El Eiman group for a well done job and Insha'Allah we will go with you again next year with our friends and will recommend you... |

Beyond my expectations
Beyond my expectations. Dar El-Eiman did a fine job. Hotels were very clean and close to Haram. we got free upgrade to a 5* hotel facing Haram in Makkah. Hotel in Madinah was clean and near Haram. Too much good food was offered at the hotels in Makkah and Madinah.Mina camp was next to Jamrat. Mina was a little more crowded than I would like but that was pointed to us before we left to Hajj. Food in Mina was very good. I expected boxed food but instead we got buffet style warm food. Scholars were great. I learned a lot during the trip.
Advise to my brothers and sisters planning to go to hajj:
A. Do your homework before traveling to hajj
B. Have realastic expectations in light of the big crowds.
c. Ask the right questions Ex. Location of Mina camp, Private transportation or government buses, ......
D. Go to Umrah before going to hajj to get prepared.
E. If you are old, take a young relative with you to help you out.
Based on my recent experience I do recommend Dar El-Eiman for your next trip.

I am writing this e-mail thanking Mr. Saidi for the best trip of my life. Hajj and Umrah is not an easy trip and Mr. Saidi explained this via e-mails prior to leaving the USA.
The hotel/food were outstanding and better than I expected. I had a room with Haram view during my stay in Mecca.
The only bad thing about this trip was a gentleman with his Dad who kept complaining the entire trip. He was a constant complainer. Talking on his cell phone around 4:30AM for an hour on the bus while the entire group where asleep between Mecca and Madina.
I am planning on taking my wife if god willing in few years with Mr. Saidi and Dar Eliman.
All lectures were translated to English by Sheikh Abdul Jaleel at every stop. I am very satisfied and would very much recommend Dar Eliman to all my friends and relatives.

This is my third time traveling to hajj with dar El-Eiman and for the third time I return with my husband very satisfied with their service starting from the accommodation in Makah hotel (facing el- haram) to Minna where our group leader sheikh abdel-jalil helped us to do all the Eid retuals also our stay in Madina was very rewarding after finishing the hajj . brother Quadour was whith our group through out our journey in hajj and did a good job listening and helping whoever needed him I strongly recommend dar El-Eiman for anymuslim planning to make hajj next year |

disappointed Haji
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
DAR El eiman has reorganized in 2008 and t is no longer under central management. Their quality has gone done greatly since then. Do not be mislead by prior reviews. The major problem with this company is disorganization and logistical coordination. TERRIBLE and cannot plan for problems e.g. our group was merged with another group in a bus without sufficient seats or air conditioning for a 12 hour bus ride - this happened more than once; conditions in Mina were far inferior to Dar Es Salaam (which charged less money), including terrible bathroom conditions, inferior tents etc; many khutbas for our English speaking group were conducted in Arabic with brief English translation, to accomodate the Arabic speaking group that we were merged with.
The only good part is Shaikh Jaleed, but he is the religious guide and cannot make up for bad logistics.
I note that Dar es Salaam has worse customer service in the U.S. (unreturned calls etc) but much better logistics in Saudi Arabia. |

Excellent 2007 Hajj trip
Dar El-Eiman staff did an excellent job. Hotels were as advertised close to Haram and very clean. The food was great. Minah camp was first rate and facing Jamrat. Day of Arafat was wonderful with many many scholars leading the way in Duaa and prayers. Sh. Abdeljaleel , Sh. Ahmed and other Imams did a wonderful job. The buses were private and newer. I really cannot ask for more under the conditions of hajj. My humble suggestion to all is to prepare your self well for this wonderful journey. Yes! they will be some difficulties such as crowded roads and less sleep....but we are their for Allah.

I will be short and to the point. You pay, you will not see them or hear from them again. You and others in your group will have to find your own transportation and accommodations. In Mecca you will be staying so far you have to take a cab daily and at night. At mina there will be no tent and you might have to sleep in the corridors as we did. Good luck and may Allah (swt) make us Muslims more truthful and honest. When we advertise something we should try to deliver to the best of our abilities. Some of these people don't think that Allah (swt) is watching them. |

Dar El-Eiman did a wonderful job for me and my family during 2007 hajj. Hotels were 5 star and very close to Haram. Food at the hotels was second to none. Mina camp was VIP facing Gamarat (Shitan) . Food in Mina & Arafat was very good considering the difficulties associated with cooking inside the camps. Buses were private and very good. One suggestion is to have buses which bath room facilites.Sh. Mustafah from Californis was Excellent. Other Scholares (do not remember names) were were great as well.I was on their upgraded special program. Dar El-Eiman Saudi ground staff was great.The wholr trip was very worth it.Obviously I would welcome cheaper rates if it is possible. Yes! I do recommend Dar El-Eiman for you. 2007 hajj
We dýd go wýth Dar El-Eýman for 2007 hajj. I was ýn theýr deluxe program. The trýp was excelent. I was very satýsfýed. Hotels were excelent and very close to Haram. Mýna accommodatýons were very upgraded and facýng Haram Shareef. They gýve me and all (4/R) a fee upgrade to (2/R) ýn Madýnah. The leadershýp of the program was outstandýng. We learned alot about our Deen from the great scholares who were wýth us. There ýs obvýously always a room for ýmprovenment. I suggest the followýng:
1. More Orýentatýon meetýngs to prepare hajjees before departýng to Saudý Arabýa.
2. Less food at the hotels and ýn Mýna. The food ýs too much. We are supposed to be theýr for Ibadah not for food.
3. Offer some Economy programs for those who cannot offord deluxe prýces. |

I do recommend dar El-Eiman for you. Hajj is very difficult endvour. The brothers in charge realy do an excllent job under very taugh conditions. Millions of people are gathering at the same time. Hotels are crowded, Traffic is worse than anything you have seen in your life. Passport control process slows everything down. Add on the top of all of that you have some people who are very unrealistic with their demands. I do not know how these brothers in charge of hajj trips do it year in and year out. May Allah bless these good brothers at Dar El-Eiman and all other sincere brothers who do their best to help the guests of Allah. |

Later found out, they hired fellow hajji as guide/group leaders. Hotel accommodation were excellent, however, you do not need any help once inside Haram area. From Medina to Mina, transportation was without A/C, even though I purchased the A/C bus package. Poor sense of management, due to the fact only one person with actual authority was present from the company. Leading a group of Hajji well over 100 to 150 people. Very disappointement with the group, I highly recommend future Hajj's to ask for list of past Hajji’s contact information. A full list from 2006. |

A memorable experience!
My Hajj experience was wonderful. The whole experience is very memorable. Everything went well alhamdulliallah. We had a great group of people with our Hajj group. Everybody was very helpful. Accommodations were great and the whole Dar El-Eiman team worked tirelessly to make our experience worth while. |

Alhamdillilah! Gone to hajj 5 times in last 10 years
I have gone with this company to hajj five times in the last 10 years. Overall I am very satisfied and do recommend it to others. Yes! some years were easier than others in terms of traffic & accommodations. Also sometimes you end up with strong or weak group leader depending on group bus .However, as a veteran hajjee I know you can never have a problem-free hajj. Important part of hajj is to be rewarded for the difficulties you may encopunter during hajj..
Positive points:
1. Very good scholars
2. Mostly Very Good hotels close to Haram
3. Minah location facing Jamrat
4. Overall very good food
5. Up front with customers. No overpromising
Room for improvement:
1. Orientation meeting for eveybody before travel. I know Dar El-Eiman conducts such meeting in major cities but more is needed for isolated indviduals.
2. Do not take people with side-trips because most of the complains I hear seem to come from people who arrive into Saudi Arabia alone away from main group.
3. Offer some budget programs for less cost to help everybody to go to
hajj inshAllah but be very clear with customers on the difference between budget programs versus more upgraded ones.
4. Train more capable group leaders.
5. Offer some Indian/Pakistani food
Leading groups to hajj is very difficult task. May Allah reward you and all other hajj providers. |

Hajj 2006
Would not recommend. Appeared to be incompetent to the extreme. Went for hajj with a group from India in 1989 and they didn't have as fancy accomodations, but were much more organized and (obviously), much more affordable than Dar El-Eiman. |

Transportation by Bus
The transportation bus from Arafat to Muzdalifah was an excellent bus, however, the bus picked us up around 10:30 PM. The bus moved for 2 KM and stopped all the night due to the buses Jam. I will recommend better coordination for the buses timing from Arafat to Muzdalifah since we missed Muzdalifah. I have to walk all the distance from near Arafat to Minah. |

Thanks for a great Hajj experience
This was my second Hajj (Badl) with Dar El Eiman. Once again everything was wonderful. The only feedback is that it would be beneficial to have English speaking scholars with us. Our scholars were of high caliber but unfortunately, we had to use translators, so was not able to benefit from their knowledge as much as I would have liked. |

Overall I am very satisfied.
1. I loved the fact that we were physically close to the Masjids.
2. The Sheikhs, Fouad and Abujaleel, were very kind and inforamtive.
3. I wish that transportation at Muzdalifah was not disorganized, realizing that this may have had to do with traffic and Dar-El-Iman.
May Allah (SWT) bless our brothers and sisters at Dar-El-Iman so that they may other Hajjees in the future. |

Dar El-Eiman provided me with excellent service from obtaining my visa to a hitch free travel.They even provided a representative to meet us at Frankfurt.The leaders have a lot of Islamic knowledge and were always willing to answer questions and provide guidance.The accommodation and food provided was excellent, at one pont I was scared I would gain weight!!! I will surely use them again Insha Allah, and also recommend them to others. |

Company did not over-promise; very candid that Hajj is not a vacation and that the Saudi controls are unpredictable; fired the food-providing contractor in Minah when the food was not per promise. Caravan left within a reasonable time of the announced times; Group leader was a good dawah worker and easily approachable. Area of improvement include cost reduction (since it is increasing too much with all companies) and presence of additional doctors (perhaps take volunteer doctors/Physician Assistants). |
