Highly recommended!
This was my first hajj (2009), and Rendezvous Travel did not disappoint. We had access to pre-trip teachings/advice from Imams and Adel's wife, high-quality transportation services, delicious food, excellent and convenient accommodations, and most importantly, the opportunity to perform hajj according to the Sunnah. Despite the challenging hajj logistics, any snafu we experienced was quickly solved. Alhamdullillah, We had a great Hajj
Jazakallah Khair to Br. Adel for working tirelessly to make our Hajj experience a wonderful one. We went with the Express VIP package, and it was well worth the additional money. The direct flight from Dulles to Medina made our lives much easier and the accommodations and food at all sites were excellent. Mina is always tough, but Adel worked really hard to make sure the bathroom facilities were cleaned frequently. The chef at Mina was great.
I most appreciate the fact that with Br. Adel's efforts and Imam Karim AbuZaid's teachings, we were able to follow the Sunnah of the Hajj rituals as closely as possible. I know of other companies that constantly cut corners and try to compromise your Hajj for their convenience.
I would strongly recommend this Hajj package to anyone. |

I can't tell you what an incredible experience this was for the both of us. Sheikh Abdul Karim and Safi both conveyed their message across very well. Sheikh Karim, however, with his in depth fund of knowledge, experience with human nature and personality has a way with presentation that really hits the heart. I can say that I was moved by his speeches. The spiritual and family like ties of brotherhood and sisterhood fostered by this groups philosophy was apparent when we got the priviledge to complete some of our holy obligations with those folks who were so kind enough to help pave the way and take us on their repeat journey with your group. I want to thank you and your company for making our Hajj "easy" for us. I put that word in quotes because, I am humbled by the folks I saw on the streets in Mina and those that walked with children and luggage on their shoulders for miles........ probably without food? How can I not be humbled? I pray God accepts everyone's Hajj. For the work you do , brother Adel, ....... to make it easy for us which includes everything from ......."talking to us before coming", visas, hotels,busing, timing, dealing with workers, food and god only knows what else........I can say, that this is not only a tough job, but one with so many rewards in the eyes of God. I can only hope that maybe one day one of my children would be inspired to take on such a challenge to make it easy for someone else to accomplish this pillar of Islam. Again, we thank you all and especially Brother Adel for that special touch you brought to the table. Inshallah pray for us to be able to take the children to do Umrah and maybe even doing Hajj with them before our passing.

Excellent Hajj
This was my first Hajj and alhamdulil'Allah it went very well. I thank Allah for making it come true and for brother Samir Jafri who recommended Rendezvous Travel. I also want to thank brother Adil for his excellent supervision and service. I think the reason that everything went well was because brother Adil is the owner of the company, and he makes sure that he travels with the group himself every year. I was particularly pleased with the sheikhs who went with us and gave us lessons three times a day in Mena. They spoke fluent English and Arabic which was wonderful, particularly for my wife who didn't speak Arabic. They were knowledgeable, kind, understanding and very approchable. Jazahom Allah kol khair. It still amazes me that several million people can complete Hajj in less than a week. The logistics are mind boggling and I was taken aback by the nightmarish requirements of the Ministry of Hajj. Fortunately, brother Adil's long term experience allowed us to bypass many of these onerous interruptions which could really ruin the spiritual experience. The manasik (rituals) were very pleasant and the new building at the Jamarat made the stoning very easy. The accommodations arranged by Rendezvous at Mena were excellent. The tents were right next to the Jamarat and they had a full-time Chef preparing three delicious open buffet meals a day. They even hired full-time workers to keep the bathrooms clean and stocked. The accommodations at Mena were sparse compared to the hotels in Medina and Mecca, but were still far better than those of other companies where Hajjis paid as much as we did or more. My Best Experience
I had a great time performing HAJJ this year, it is such an honor to be able to perform HAJJ and enjoy it. I would say that overall the services provided to us were excellent no question about it, there were a few minor issues but that is part of HAJJ. I don think that anyone expected to have no problems at all. Excellent excellent service overall.
Suggestion to organizers: Please keep the influence of seniors (people who have performed HAJJ before) to a minimum, their experience can be a good thing, but some were acting like group leaders. |

High End Hajj Package Price but Average Service. Weak Hajj Management
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, This review is based on my experience and overall evaluation of hajj with this group. First of all, very poor communication between leaders and group {plan as you go type of group}.Change of plans always which kept us at the end at Jeddah for 2 nights which was out of question in our first meeting in Mecca. Paid for 4 Persons per Room and we got 5 Persons per Room in Mecca. Promised 6 days in Medina and we stayed more like 3 days. They put us in a 3 story building which was 40 mins away from Grand Mosque and Brother Adil didn't honor the small buses schedule he promised will take us back and forth from Grand Mosque few times a day which kept us stuck there praying in our rooms most of the time. Group leaders and supervisors didn't coordinate with each other; each one of them will tell you something different. The group leaders were defensive and had unprofessional manner interacting with the group. I wish they had a background in management. High end hajj package price but average service. |

Let me start by thanking ALLAH (SWT) for invinting us to is house and letting us achive this piller of Islam. And also thank ALLAH (SWT) for making Rendezvous Travel and Brother Adel the means of getting there.
STAFF:
Borther Adel is sincere, humble, courteous,honest and patient he never pressured us to make a deposit of pay more money unlike other agents.He had a smile on his face from the first time we meat him at this office till the time we landed back at Dulles and he travelled with us all the way. Rendezvous travel's staff took care of all our needs, they even picked our laundry up for us from the cleaners and bought phone cards for us when we needed them.jazakallah Khair to the 2 helpers who were wearing the yellow Al-Ansar T- shirts( brother Sayeed and I do not remember the name of the other) Outstanding service in Makka and Mena.
Accommodations:
The accommodations in Makka( we had a room that was facing the Kabba A+++++) ZAM ZAM towers and Madina( Harmoney hotel were excellent, spacious clean rooms and bathrooms wiht 5 star amenities.hats off the the arrangements in Mina, I had a heard a lot of horror stories about mena, the tents washrooms etc. we had a 5 star tent in mina too!! we had foutons blankets bed sheets and pillow all provided by rendezvous travel. the washrooms were just like we have them in North America, toilet paper hand washing soap and on going cleaning to maintain the place.( I was very impressed).
Transportation:
The transportation was on time, somooth, comfortable, and luxurious( the credit ges to Brother Fareed a jolly person with a great sence of humor)Jazakallah Brother Fareed.
Imams:
We also had the best Imams in our group, Brother Safi Khan, Brother Hasan Abunar and Brother Karim Abu zaid who were with us at all times and continuously transfering knowledge to us via lectures, talks and discussions preparing us for the spiritually .we would have meetings every night preparing us for the next day in terms of what we will be doing. one of them was available to answer any of our questions, so we were never in doubt if we were performing rituals correctly.
Food:
The food was abundant and delicious at all times and at all the places especially Mina, we had Chefs prepare fresh meals (5 star spread) at all times.
24 hour drinks and fruits.
The Group:
Jazakallah Khair to all the group menbers and the group volunteers, brother Sayeed, brother Nemer and brother Nadeem.
Overall great exprience. The key to the sucess I think is the sincerity and willingness of the organizers,they were willing to help us in every way possible, they truly went the extra mile.
As a result we were able to concentrate totally on our Ibada the prime reason we were there for and not worry about the rest as they were all taken care of by the professionals.
I would surely use the services of rendezvous travel if i have the opportunity to do another Hajj or Umrah and strongly recommend all my friends and family to use the services of Rendezvous travels as well" They are silmpy the Best"

Sincere Owners Deliver
Assalamu alaykum. This was my first experience with Hajj, but I got deep lessons from many friends, relatives and acquaintances. I heard horror stories and good stories, so I had a bit of an inkling on what to expect.
Overall, I was extremely happy with Rendezvous Travel. The owners and workers were very sincere in making things as comfortable as possible for the hajjis. They put their all, sacrificed sleep, food and comfort so that things would go smoothly for us. My husband and I were very happy. We travelled on the express package, and stayed in accomadations facing the Haram in Makka and Medina. Travel to each new location went smoothly. One of the best points with this group is the scholars that accompanied the group. They really prepared us mentally for hajj, prepared us to be patient, to prepare ourselves for the ultimate test of our life, prepared us to spend our time in ibadah instead of gossip or vain talk. Their words were really helpful (even if we completely disagreed with them on many personal, fiqhi rulings they held.)
My only suggestion to improve this package is to give the hajjis a little more space in the camps in Mina. We were packed in there from wall to wall, with not one inch of walking space when all futons were laid out. Even if there were two less futons in there to allow for bags, it would have made things more handleable. But it wasn't a big deal, and Mina quickly came to be one of the highlights of the trip-where we met our best friends and realized our potential. May Allah reward the organizers for their sense of humor that kept things going and their ability to create a sense of community and camaraderie within the group. A+++! |

I wish the package did not keep us in Jedda for 2 nights rather kept us in Makkah until the day we left. That way the hajjis could have spent more time worshipping in the haram as this package is already a very short trip. Hajjis wanted to spend more time worshipping rather than wasting time in Jedda.
Another mismanagement was in Minah where some hajjis could not stay with their group in the same tent they had to share with another company's clients in their tent. That to me is very unfortunate and i do not understand why that happend.
Under the circumstances Adel tried his best but i think he needs more help to make everything more organized. It is too much pressure on him to do it all. Great job Adel. May Allah SWT rewards you many times for your dedication of service. |

Excellent first experience
This was the first time I do Hajj. I chose this company after doing extensive search and consultations. Br. Adel sincerity convinced me to use the company and I certainly do not regret this decision. This hajj experience for me and my wife was phenomenal from all aspects. We used the express VIP package arriving at Madenah first. Our expectations were more than fulfilled. Despite the short duration of the trip (12 days), our spiritual expetations were met in all locations (Harams and mashaers). The accomodations were excellent with prime locations right in front of both Harams and in Jaddah. The transportation were punctual and comfortable as promised. The food had excellent quality. We were blessed with three sheykhs accompanying us in all stations providing us with plenty of education and Nasiha. All this happened due to the experience, organization and hard working of Br. Adel who was with the whole group any hour and any moment from the moment we arrived at the airport to the moment we went into the checking point at departure. Great Logistics lead to great spiritual experience
Rendezvous has a personal touch in their Hajj package that I think few companies can offer. The president of the company is there to greet you at the airport in Medinah, he is there doing the Hajj with you in Mina and everywhere along the way. Every detail was taken care of, every issue that comes up was quickly solved, when a 2009 model bus broke down - more buses came to replace it. When things go that smotthly and someone is taking personal ownership of the problems, you can then concentrate on the spiritual part of the Hajj. Women were well tended to by the brothers who ensured we knew that a group prayer or a group lesson was being conducted. The women got the Imam one on one a few times for lessons and Q&A. In Minah that is hard as many tents are spread out - other Hajj companies left their women on their own. Highly recommend this company. |

Awesome Spiritual Hajj Experience with Al-Ansar Group
Masha-Allah, I and my wife returned back from Hajj 2009 couple of days back with Rendezvous Travel/AlAnsar Group. The experience was beyond our expectations. Every detail was taken care by this travel agency. From Imams and their guidance, Airlines, Hotels, Travel during Manasiks, Luggage Transport, Food etc.
We went via Saudi Airlines directly to Madinah. After the Ziarah we flew to Jeddah by plane and were transported to Makkah by Bus.
Hotels provided at Madinah (Movenpick) and Makkah (ZamZam Towers) were excellent. In Makkah we had a Kabba view room.
I cannot thank Adel Faramawi and Farid Farid enough for their hard work, and attention to details to accomplish this Hajj trip for our group. I specially enjoyed the 3 Imams who accompanied our group. Imam Karim Abu Zaid was very helpful with his lectures and was always available to ask any religious questions. I would highly recommend this travel agency to anyone who wants to go for Hajj next year!
Hajj is a very spiritual experience and if a travel agent takes care of details like Al-Ansar Group did for us. You can focus on your Ibadah.

i went for my first hajj in 2008 with rendez vous and brothers adel, karim, and safi were all verrry good. it was well organized and everyone was very friendly and helpful. i think having imam karim and imam safi was priceless and worth the extra money the package may have cost, they are probably 2 of the most knowledgable leaders in the dc metro area and shared countless interesting informative lectures. the accomadations were very good and its hard to complain about long bus rides when some people traveled a year to or more to come to mecca and about not so clean bathrooms alhumdolillah we didnt have to go in the streets like some people. i would use this group again |

Sincere and Honest....I will recommend to everyone
This was my first Hajj and alhumdulillah it was great. Group organizer(Adel) is very friendly and commited to look after everyone in the group. We had two Imams with our group and both Imams were very good. They were very accessable and friendly, and provided us all the inforamtion about hajj manasiks. Almost every night we had group meeting to get update on next part of the journey, and a lecture on Hajj plus Q&A. Hotel in Makkah was excellent, and hotel in Madina was good but after staying at Grand Zam Zam in Makkah the hotel in Madina (Dalah Tayaba) didn't not look very good :-). Bus was good too, I was in bus #3, but during Hajj no one has control over the traffic and it take long time to go few miles. Location in Mina was very close to Jamarat. The only thing I didn't like in mina was that washrooms were not clean. Overall it was and excellent, and alhumdulillah we performed all our Hajj manasik on time. May Allah accept our Hajj and guide us to right path. |

Not bad
Over all, we had good experience. We were lucky, we did our manasik correctly and ON TIME. (for Us that is what matters). However, we need to share these points:
- The group leader is very nice, and very friendly. He seems to be organized.In the past, he offered VIP package and he took care of the group better. This year, he joined other group from New york, and the quality got bad. I think the group from New York paid less than the one from Virginia for the same package.
- The two Imams were OK. We were not impressed and we did not depend on them to learn what we should do in Hajj.
- The hotel Zam Zam in Mekkah was great. It is very close to Haram, clean and The food was more than what we need.
- The hotel In Madinah was below average. The rooms were durty and stinky. The food was borring (the same food every day).
- Mina was bellow average.The bathrooms were bad, and the food was always late. I think that is the situation in Mina for all the groups. We should be thankful any way.
- Our main problem was the buses that were in bad shape. The drivers always lost. We are not sure, however, if the company can control this issue. It will be better to rent better buses and hire qualified drivers.
- Overall, the group leaders tried hard to please every body, and we 'll go with them again In chaallah.

THE BEST THERE IS!
Rendezvous Travel was outstanding in every aspect all throughout our Hajj Journey. They were more than helpful and basically jumped at any oppurtunity to accomadate myself or any one of my group member's needs. Mr.Adel Faramawi was always pleasant in his interactions with us while Brother Safi Khan gave us many interesting lectures. In response to the Review Titled HAJJ 2006..Brother Please Itiki El La..You are claiming there were no hotels? That is impossible since I, myself went on this Hajj trip in 2006 and was accomadated in some of the best hotels Saudia Arabia has to offer. To begin with in Mecca we stayed in the Meredian Hotel (5 star) and in the Madinah we stayed in the Intercontinental Hotel (5 star). With this being said Brother You are making a false accusation against a very Honest Travel Agency and are hindering their public stature for reasons unknown. All I can say is Allah Yehdik Brother..The last thing I would like to say Please ask Sheikh Safi Khan if there weren't any Hotel Accomadations in Hajj 2006? For he will always speak the truth..This saddens me though that an individual would try to corrupt an Honest Travel Agency by making up fibbs and posting them online on an honest website such as this one. By far the Best!!!
This is by far the best package available if you would like a first class program. The Imam was very informative, the group leader Mr.Adel Faramawi was fantastic and the group had a wonderful time. It is a very organized trip. I would recommend this to everyone who would like to go to Hajj. wether it is your first or fifth time. I would go with Brother Adel again and again. He is trustworthy and executes his program with grace and dignity. |

Alhamdulillah!
I was very pleased with the Zam Zam hotel in Makkah - short walk to the Masjidil Haram and the room, the food and services were excellent. I was disappointed with the Al Harithiyah Hotel in Madinah and I was shocked with the tent and bathroom conditions in Mina. But nothing beats the excellent lectures given by Imam Safi and brother Karim and the wonderful service and sacrifices made by Brother Adel and sister Fatima. And I will never forget to say "Alhamdulillah!" whatever the situation may be!! I came home feeling cleansed and purified after making that journey of a lifetime. In hindsight, I got to know the group better living in a tent in Mina. Alhamdulillah...! |

Excellent All the WAY!!
This company is SPECTACULAR, they are very customer service oriented and took care of client needs. Having 2 Shooykh was an added benefit and we learned so many new aspects of Islam. Adel was wonderful and greeted everyone with smiles no matter how difficult things became. Fatima was delightful and helped everyone in need. |
